ABOUT THIS DATABASE...

The Colorado Pesticide Information Retrieval System database contains information pertaining to pesticides currently registered by the Colorado Department of Agriculture for distribution and sale in Colorado and is provided for informational purposes only. The information may or may not include restrictions specific to Colorado. The data that supports these search features are derived from two different sources - the Colorado Division of Plant Industry Pesticide Section and the USEPA's Office of Pesticide Programs - Pesticide Product Information System (PPIS).

The information that is searched on specific sites and pests is based on the "master label" accepted by EPA. Many products are only for use on a subset of these sites and pests. Information derived from this system does not constitute a label replacement or a recommendation. Before applying any pesticide, applicators must determine if the product under consideration is correct for the intended use site. Always check the container/package label to determine if the intended use site is included on the label. READ AND FOLLOW LABEL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING ANY PESTICIDE PRODUCT.

If you are not sure if a particular pesticide product is registered in Colorado, please contact the Colorado Division of Plant Industry before purchase, distribution, sale or use.

Crop specific recommendations are available from Colorado State University Cooperative Extension - the High Plains Integrated Pest Management Guide for Colorado-Western Nebraska-Wyoming-Montana (http://wiki.bugwood.org/HPIPM:Main_Page/) . Additional pest management resources can be found at http://wsprod.colostate.edu/cwis79/ipminfo/ResourcesAndLinks.htm. Or you can contact CSU Cooperative Extension directly (http://www.ext.colostate.edu/coop/contmenu.html).
